S.A.L. Friday the 13th Cosplay Treasure Hunt (Rules):
- Dress like a camper or a camp counselor!
- $5 Entry (Must be 21+ to play)
- Pamela Vorhees (Jason’s Mother) is the official scorekeeper!
- 20 prizes (actual prizes and/or gift certificates).
- 2 Teams: Camp Crystal Lake VS Camp Blood (Teams TBD at contest entry).
- Camp Crystal Lake is the front bar area. Camp Blood is the Event Hall.
- Hints (hint codes) on Televisions in both camp areas.
- Time clock for treasure hunt: 7PM – 8:45PM (or last prize taken or last contestant killed!). Contest is over at 8:45PM.
- All contestants get a numbered bib. Must keep on for Jason to find you!
- Prize codes are placed anywhere on Legion property (do not remove). You must report prize found to the official scorekeeper (Jason’s Mother), including the prize code + the hint code it is in reference to when you find it. Just note…if you report the wrong prize clue and hint combination, Jason’s mother will kill you! (this is to prevent when people ‘accidentally’ find a prize code they are not searching for).
- Tents! There will be 2 tents setup (front stage, hall stage). You can avoid Jason in a tent, while you try to figure out a clue. But if you leave the tent to find a prize, you are open game to be killed by Jason if your number is up!
- Starting 10 minutes after hunt begins, Jason makes his first appearance, and, every 5 minutes then on, Jason’s mother spins tumbler. If your number comes up, she is sending Jason to eliminate you from the hunt! You better get back to your tent if you are not close to finding a prize!
- If you find a prize code, you should immediately claim from score keeper to get your prize. First come, first serve. And..before Jason gets to you!
- You don’t know if your number/bib is called until Jason gets to you, you must surrender your bib. (Your dead and you can’t continue in hunt). We suggest staying in your camp’s tent while idle!
- If you leave Legion property to avoid Jason, you are disqualified.
- Any prizes found before Jason kills (eliminates) you are yours to keep.
- Any camper/camp counselor alive after the game, either when all prizes are won or when time runs out, gets a free drink to settle their nerves!
$10 50/50 available until 9PM. To be pulled after the Queen of Hearts drawing at 9PM.
